The Niue Yacht Club is a voluntary organisation run by a small group of dedicated enthusiasts. Though none of the management committee actually owns a yacht, the club has a membership of just over 1,100 worldwide and is a very popular spot for yachting travellers to visit. In 2011 it won the Seven Seas Cruising Association award for International Cruising Station of the Year, which is very impressive for a small Pacific Island!
The club operates during the high season and you don’t need to be a member to enjoy its wonderful hospitality. Barbecues there are very popular, as is the free Wi-Fi. It’s definitely worth a visit!
